MathType Interactive equation editor
MathType is an application designed to build and export mathematical equations of all types for use in other programs or websites. The program is for researchers, scientists and others who need to construct complicated equations on a computer using symbols that are not easily accessible through most other applications. The interface is similar to a word processor except that there are many tabs on top providing fast access to commonly used symbols. There are also empty slots where the user can define custom symbols or combinations. The finished equation can be exported to Microsoft Word. It can also be saved in a format compatible with programs like TeX and MathML or as an image.
